Fresh was founded in 2014 by Michael Nguyen, and later evolved into Fresh Consultancy Group Pty Ltd after several years in the industry.
Since its establishment, the studio has provided professional building design services throughout the Brisbane region. Based in Sherwood, the company is fully registered, licensed, and insured to deliver building design solutions.
A husband-and-wife team, Michael and Lilian offer clients a truly personalised one-on-one experience. Together, they bring extensive knowledge in design and construction — drawing from both their professional projects and hands-on experience with their own personal builds.

MICHAEL.
After graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Design (Architectural Studies) from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Michael went on to complete a Certificate IV in Building and Construction in 2015.
Qualified in both design and construction, and with experience working for a builder and a structural engineer during his studies - Michael quickly built a strong foundation in the building industry before starting his own venture.
Now with over 13 years of experience, Michael has worked on hundreds of projects and is trusted by clients, builders, and consultants alike. He takes a pragmatic and thoughtful approach to every project and prides himself on creating well-considered, practical design solutions that truly reflect his clients’ needs.

LILIAN.
Her passion for art and design led her to complete a Bachelor of Design (Interior Studies) at QUT in 2019. While working in the industry, Lilian gained hands-on experience across commercial, healthcare, multi-residential, and residential projects.
Having worked in both boutique studios and large design firms, she eventually chose to collaborate with Michael and focus on the residential space—an area where she feels most connected to the people she designs for.
Lilian brings creativity, intention, and genuine care to every project, making sure each home feels considered and uniquely personal.
